“People talk about cavemen beating wooly mammoths in slow motion all the time, but this band actually does it, without bragging even.” -Steelee, Amoeba Music

Prizehog, a three piece band from San Francisco, has been playing music since 2006. They have played in basements, houses, venues and festivals with such bands as Jello Biafra and the Guantanamo School of Medicine, Phil Manley, New Thrill Parade, Moira Scar, Genesis Climber, Dead Daughter, Drunk Dad, Batmen, Wildildlife, Mammatus, Polar Bears, Levator, Ovens, Ghetto Blaster, Tiny Knives, Million Brazilians, Capsule, Diesto, Rabbits, Wolvserpent, Cough, The Sandwitches and many other amazingly talented folks.

In 2008, Prizehog self-released their EP “Alive and Well”, and in June of 2011 they released their first full length, “Thought Nest” on Saint Rose Records.
